What Will Happen If I Choose Colon Screening?
You will receive a simple test with instructions that can be done at home, return it to us by using the self-addressed envelope and your stool sample will be sent to the lab for testing and the result will be sent to you in 3 weeks’ time.
In most cases, your result will not show anything that will require further attention. You will automatically be invited again for the next screening round after 2 years. In a small number of people, the screening result will indicate that more tests are required before one can be certain that the colon is entirely normal. In this case, you will be given an appointment with our nurse.
