The Health Centers are the hub of the primary health care services provided by the Government. Besides the general practitioner and nursing services, various specialised health services are provided. These include podiatry, physiotherapy, immunisation, speech therapy, Antenatal and Postnatal clinics, Well Baby and Pediatric Clinics, Diabetes clinics, Orthopedic clinics and Wound clinics. As the times and availability of these clinics vary, for further information the public is kindly requested to contact the Client Support Centre on 21 231 231.
At present there are ten Health Centres (HCs). Floriana HC has two satellites, Gzira HC and Qormi HC. Paola HC has two satellites, Cospicua HC and Kirkop HC. Mosta HC has two satellites, Rabat HC and Birkirkara HC. The public is requested to attend the Health Centre that serves his/her locality of residence.
